What we do

The Naperville Police Chaplain Association (NPCA) exists to help our community in times of need, to mend the broken, and provide support for our officers.

The nonprofit NPCA provides spiritual guidance and counseling to members of the community in partnership with the department. For example, chaplains may be called upon to assist officers in death notifications, accidents with serious injuries, and persons in need. Chaplains also provide guidance and counsel to sworn and civilian members of the police department.

Last year, the NPCA provided 

1. Temporary shelter for local people in desperate need,

2. Prayer and counseling for police officers,

3. Food donations from individuals and faith communities, and

4. Comforting support and counsel after tragic accidents and circumstances.
